Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din has said that we have demanded of the government several times to make the Justice Njafi’s report public. He warned that the PAT workers were losing the temper and if they chose the streets as the means of seeking justice, the corrupt and murderous rulers would find no place to hide. He lamented that even the judge who heard the hearing of the Model Town incident had been transferred.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League has started AL-Hidayah project to spread the learning of Quran among the women. In this regard, while addressing the inaugural ceremony held in regional office of Defense, Chief Guest Ms. Fizza Hussain Qadri said that the biggest cause of the increasing extremism is the distance from the Quranic teachings. She added that it was unavoidable need of contemporary era to concentrate on the religious training and education of women to promote the Islamic values and traditions and to establish peaceful society.

Both leaders exchanged views on the ongoing political situation in the country. PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Fiaz Warraich, Noorullah Siddiqui, Sajid Mahmood Bhatti and others were also present in the meeting.
A mass marriage ceremony was held at the central secretariat under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. President of MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the event. In today’s mass marriage ceremony, 23 couples entered into matrimonial alliance. Dower to the tune of 175,000 was given to each bride besides arrangement of feast for 700 guests. The brides and grooms were welcomed traditionally.
The prize distribution ceremony of inter-school scholarship tests was held on May 14 by Minhaj Interfaith & Welfare Foundation Pulwama. The inter-school contest was held at various schools in Pulwama and close to 1000 students participated in it. The ceremony was presided over by Abdul Rasheed (President MQII J&K), along with Ghulam Razik of Baroda, Gujarat who is a famous educationist and philanthropist and was a chief guest at the occasion.
