Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri warns of consequences of rigged polls

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that he presented a comprehensive package for electoral reforms, elimination of corruption and restoration of democracy as per its spirit in a mammoth public meeting on December 23. He further said that he highlighted the importance of constitutional provisions dealing with qualifications and disqualifications of candidates such as Article 62 and 63, the holding of fair, free and transparent elections as per Article 218 and the Supreme Court Judgment of June 8, 2012 and a 30-day scrutiny period for pre-poll clearance of those aspiring to contest polls.

It was amazing to see the strength of character, patience and tolerance shown this year by the workers of Minhaj-ul-Qur'an and those who attended the Mawlid Conference. Despite the rain and bitter cold - despite the howling wind and terrible conditions thousands upon thousands of people kept coming in their droves to show their love and attachment to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W).

On the 28th January 2012 Mississauga Muslim Community Centre (MMCC), Canada held its annual Mawlid conference celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). It was a Alhamdulillah a great success with sisters of all walks of life attending. The keynote speaker was Sister Ghazala Qadri, member of the Supreme Council (MQI) and General Secretary of Minhaj-ul-Qur’an Women League International.

Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference Canada 2011

A Historic Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.W.A) Conference was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International with the joint effort of Mississauga Muslim Community Center on Sunday April 3, 2011 at the International Centre—one of the prestigious venue of Toronto, Canada. It was a jam packed event attended by over 4000 people from all walks of life, including young and old various prominent scholars, heads of Muslim organizations, community leaders, journalists, electronic & print media and people from across North America, UK & Europe.

IslamTune.com : Official opening

The official opening of the Multimedia website www.islamTune.com was done on the auspicious occasion of Ashura. The programme was held personally by Qibla Huzoor. The programme started with the recitation of holy Qur'an by renowned Qari Ahmed Awan and Qari Shafiq, after the iftar and Maghreb prayer. Kashif javed from MQI Vancouver Canada teamed up with Hashim Ali Qadri from MQI Toronto Canada to carry on with the presentation of newly created web-site.
