MQI Berlin celebrates Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW)

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Universal Hall in Berlin on March 11, 2012. It is the first time in the history of Minhaj-ul-Quran Berlin that MYL Berlin organized and celebrated this great event in collaboration with other Muslim youth organizations in Berlin which included the following: Islamische Akademie e.V., Ayasofia Moschee e.V. and Haus der Weisheit e.V.

On 12th February 2012, Minhaj ul Quran Berlin celebrated the great occasion of Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) with great solemnity and joy. The chief guest of the conference was Allama Hafiz Nazir Ahmed Khan.
National German TV Channel ZDF visits MQI Frankfurt am Main

On Friday, 15th of October 2010, ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) visited Minhaj
ul Quran Mosque in Frankfurt am Main. ZDF is the second biggest German TV Channel
which has his studios all over the world. ZDF is a public-service German television
channel based in Mainz. It is run as an independent non-profit agency established
by joint contract between the German federal states (Bundesländer). ZDF is funded
by television license and advertising revenue.

MQI Berlin takes part in tree planting in the outskirts of Berlin

German TV Channel ZDF organizes a Live Program for flood affected in Pakistan

Hilfe für Pakistan (Help for Pakistan) was the Motto of this Program, which was organized and live transmitted on German TV 26.08.2010 at 20:15 Hours. The program was conducted by Peter Frey (Chief editor) and Mr. Markus Lanz. From the Pakistani community Minhaj-ul-Quran International Berlin was represented through Mr. Faiz Ahmed (President), Mr. Nadeem Shah (Sr. Vice President), Mr. Mohammad Irshad (General Secretary), Mrs. Naheed Imran (representing Minhaj Women League).
Scholar Hafiz Tariq Ali reaches Berlin

Respectable scholar Hafiz Tariq Ali from Pakistan has arrived in Berlin. He has come to be the Imam of Minhaj ul Quran Berlin. About 20 people came to receive him at the Berlin Tegel Airport, including president of MQI Berlin Faiz Ahmed and General Secretary of MQI Berlin Mohammad Irshad.
Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri speaks on Terrorism in Berlin

Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the only way to defeat terrorists and extremists is through collaboration. He also said that there is a manifest difference between Muslims and Khwarjis and that people who commit suicide bombing are out of the orbit of Islam. After that, he referred to Dr. Tahir- ul-Qadri’s saying that “Terrorists are not the heroes of the Ummah but the heroes of the hell fire, and they are leading towards hell fire”.

She threw light on the concept of the evening and how it would help form partnership to defeat the forces of extremism and terrorism.
A huge Eid gathering under MQI Berlin

On November 27, 2009, the Muslims living in Berlin celebrated Eid-ul-Adha with religious fervour. The Muslim organizations of different schools of thought decided to celebrate Eid on the same day. This consensus within the mainstream Muslim organizations won huge applause from across the Muslim community in Germany.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Frankfurt celebrated this Eid-ul-Adha with great religious fervour, zeal and zest. A well organized program was held in which people from all walks of life and races participated. An impressive number of Pakistani community showed up on the event. A considerable number of German, Turkish, and Morocon community also participated in the event and made it the biggest Eid-ul-Adha gathering in Frankfurt, Germany.
Celebration of Milad Festival and Pakistan Day

Keeping in view the MQI’s unique tradition of celebration of the milad of the Holy Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) as a cultural event, PAK ALMIE CENTRE BREMEN GERMANY hosted a grand milad festival and Pakistan Day on 23rd March 2009. The event took place in Turkish cultural centre. The programme was well attended by a large number of Pakistani families in Bremen as well as a number of Turkish and Arbish families whose children are studying at Minhaj-ul-Quran Islamic Centre.
Unity between Muslims & Christians in Frankfurt, Germany

Friday, the 3rd October 2008, was not only a memorable day for Germany, as it was the 18th Anniversary of the “Day of the German Unification”, this sunny day was also the beginning of the unity between Muslims and Christians in Frankfurt, Germany.
This open invitation has been announced by Dr. Brigitta Sassin, German responsible for Muslim Christian dialogue by the council of Frankfurt, to various Christian communities in and around Frankfurt.
