The father of Aaqil Malik, Nazim of MQI’s Secretariat, died on February 10, 2011. He was ill for some time and was undergoing treatment at the Jinnah Hospital Lahore. The funeral prayers for him were offered in Mianwali, which were attended by among others by the central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of Aaqil Malik’s father. Meanwhile Sahibzada Hasan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, G.M. Malik, Sq. Leader (r ) Abdul Aziz, Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, Jawad Hamid, Raja Jamil Ajmal, Qazi Faiz ul Islam, Abdul Hafiz Chaudhry, Farooq Rana, Muhammad Afzal Qadri and others have also condoled with Aaqil Malik the death of his father.
