With the arrival of the blessed month, Rabi-ul-Awal, the heart of every Umati, whether he is practicing or not, good or bad, feels a certain warmth that increases by every passing moment. Their hearts are full of so much love and happiness. Their attitude will certainly confuse any onlooker to think that the day of Eid is about to come. Of course for these ‘lovers’ Eid it is certainly around the corner but it is neither Eid-ul-Fitr nor Eid-ul-Adha; it is a greater Eid; The Eid of all Eids because it is the celebration for the birth of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. This Eid is Eid Millad-un-Nabi (S.A.W.)

Those lovers who could not wait for the Holy day of Milaad ie 12th Rabi-ul-Awal any longer, held a spectacular program to welcome the month of Rabi-ul-Awal on 8th of April 2009 with the title ‘Istaqbal-e-Rabi-ul-Awal’, on the first day of the blessed month _ Rabi-ul-Awal. Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Lahore gave them an opportunity to express their feelings which could not be contained any longer.

This beautiful Mehfil was presided by Hazoor Shaykh-ul-Islam. Mrs. Qura’t ul A’in Fatima, Qura’t ul A’in Ayesha, Mrs. Ghazala Hassan Qadri, Mrs. Fizza Hussain Qadri, Sister Basima Hassan Qadri, Brother Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani AL-Qadri and Brother Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi Al-Qadri were the chief guests.

The proceedings of program were formally launched by recitation from Holy Qur’an by Brother Hammad Mustafa in a very beautiful way. Then Brother Hammad Mustafa, Brother Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi & Sister Basima Hassan Qadri paid special salutations upon The Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) & recited the most heart touching nasheeds in Arabic & Urdu that made that Mehfil really very beautiful.

Hazoor Shaykh-ul-Islam made a special talk with the attendants (almost all of them were Tanzeemat from Lahore) & appreciated their efforts in making the upcoming Milaad Campaign successful. Hazoor Shaykh-ul-Islam made special prayers for the Sisters of Women League & gave flowers to the Sisters of Central Women League.

Ziafat-e-Milaad was distributed & this beautiful Mehfil ended with Salat-o-Salaam.

May Allah Almighty accept our efforts & bless us with more strength to celebrate more Mahafil-e-Zikr-o-Naat.
