Today is the 19th of February, the 68th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and a leading authority on Islam in the contemporary world. Minhaj-ul-Quran International felicitates its members around the world on the auspicious occasion the Quaid Day.
A special ceremony to celebrate the 68th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held at the Minhaj University Lahore on February 19. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Aslam Ghauri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Dr Shahid Soroya, Col. (r) Mubashir Iqbal, Barrister Amir Hassan, Mian Zahid Islam, GM Malik, Jawad Hamid, Adnan Javed, Shahzad Rasool, Sohail Ahmad Raza, Noorullah Siddiqi, Rashid Kalyami, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Deans, Heads of Departments and the students of the senior classes attended the ceremony.
The launching ceremony of newly published Quranic Encyclopedia compiled by Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held in Sindh Boy Scouts Auditorium Karachi. Addressing the ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Quranic Encyclopedia is the top-notch scholarly work of the present century which is the result of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s deep study of the Holy Quran over the last fifty years.

Addressing a question-answer session in the context of extremism in South Asia as part of two-day Think-Fest Conference in Lahore, President of the MQI, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has said that trends of violent sectarianism, division, and hatred took root after the British compulsorily imposed their educational system in 1857. Consequently, the Muslims were pushed against the wall.
Addressing the media on the first death anniversary of Zainab in Kasur, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has demanded of Prime Minister Imran Khan to declare the 10th of January as the Zainab day.
