Women to stand shoulder to shoulder with men in case of war: Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League

Central President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL), Ms Saba Fatima, has said that if India imposed war on Pakistan, it will be given tit for tat. Pakistan's desire for peace should not be construed as its weakness. She said women of Pakistan would stand shoulder to shoulder with their men in any event of the Indian aggression. Indian expansionist and hegemonic designs were a threat to the peace of region. She expressed these views while addressing the Working Council of Minhaj Women League in Lahore.

Ms Saba Fatima said that India was responsible for human rights violations, and atrocities on hapless people in Kashmir. The treatment meted out to minorities in India was a clear reminder of the intentions of Indian extremist organizations, which enjoyed official patronage. She said India always shifted blame of its internal problems on Pakistan, which was reprehensible. She said India was on the diplomatic offensive aimed at casting Pakistan in bad light through its propaganda machine. Ms Fatima said Pakistan was being isolated globally. She urged the government to launch a full diplomatic offensive to respond to the baseless Indian allegations. “Pakistan is itself a victim of terrorism and its services for elimination of terrorism are recognized at the international level,” she observed. She asked the Indian leadership that if it were sincere, then, it should cooperate with Pakistan to weed out terrorism from the region.
