Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the source of guidance. He said that Muslims would have to spend their life in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for mental, psychological and spiritual peace of mind and happiness. He said that the utmost respect for the person of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the essence of our faith and good deeds. He asked the youth to make the study of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) their daily routine.
The Quaid Day seminar was held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Gujranwala to celebrate the 71st birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Mrs. Ayesha Shabbir and Ms. Iqra Mubeen joined the ceremony as chief guests. President MWL Gujranwala Huraira Bawar presented a welcome note in which she thanked the participants and guests for making time to celebrate the occasion. The MWL teams from different PPs shared their stories about how they joined MQI.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation has started its ambulance service in the Wandu area (PP-99) of Gujranwala. With this addition, the total number of ambulances under MWF has increased to 25. The inaugural ceremony was held on February 9, 2010 where Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, central Deputy Director of MWF, was the chief guest on the occasion. He handed over the keys of the ambulance to the Director welfare of the Wandu area.
