The elder sister of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri passed away in Jhang earlier today. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri led the funeral prayers for the deceased. Secretary-General MQI Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Syed Altaf Hussain Shah, Sahibzada Sibghatullah Qadri, Shafqatullah Qadri, Basharat Jaspal, Noor Muhammad Sahoo, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Noorullah Siddiqui, Mian Abdul Qadir, Abdur Rehman, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam and a large number of MQI workers, officeholders and people belonging to various walks of life attended her funeral prayer.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Mandi Shah Jeewna (Jhang) organized Mahfil e Milad. Ms Adiba Chaudhry (Zonal Head South Punjab) delivered a keynote lecture on the occasion. The spiritual program started with Hamd by Minhaj Naat Council Jhang. Central Naat Council Lahore also attended Mehfil to present the beautiful Nasheeds. MWL Team also placed a bookstall in the corner.
PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri left Faisalabad for visit of flood affected areas of Jhang on October 14 after successful public meeting at Dhobi Ghat by the name of ‘Revolution in Faisalabad’. Thousands of people came out on roads to accord a warm welcome to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri as he passed through cities, towns and villages. A sea of human heads could be seen lining up on the roads to receive Dr Qadri at Jhang-Chiniot More, Ayub Chowk, Sadar, Head Trimmu, Athara Hazari, Garh More, and Ahmadpur Sial.
