A two-day International ‘Rahmatun-lil-Alameen’ Conference was held in Islamabad under the banner of the Government of Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan was the chief guest who delivered the concluding speech on the first day of the Conference. The event was attended by the Federal Ministers, Members of Parliament, top government functionaries, researchers, religious scholars and intellectuals and a large number of the people from different walks of life.
Quaid day ceremony was held under the banner of Minhaj Women League (Islamabad chapter) on 27th February 2016. A large number of women from across the city participated in the programme to pay tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for his extraordinary services. The proceedings of the Quaid day programme commenced with recitation of the holy Quran by Saira Rasheed followed by Naate-e-Rasool presented by Ms. Shabana.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman, Board of Governors of Minhaj University and the Chairman Board of Directors Almawakhat Islamic Microfinance, presented the business model of Almawakhat Islamic microfinance at a two-day International Conference on Islamic Microfinance and prevailing business models. The Conference was organized on May 06-08 by International Institute of Islamic Economics, International Islamic University, Islamabad, in collaboration with Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI), Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah.
