Mobile medical camp arranged in Minhaj University Lahore

MQI Lahore arranged one-day mobile medical campus inside the premises of Minhaj University Lahore where over 1000 patients were medically examined. The teachers, students and staff of the University availed themselves of this facility and got their blood tests conducted. A team of qualified doctors checked the patients and prescribed medicines to them.

The mobile hospital and lab designed by MWF Lahore visits different areas of Lahore every day to provide its medical facilities to the people of those areas. It is staffed by a team of qualified doctors who check the patients and depending on their health condition, prescribe medicines. The mobile has the requisite facilities embedded in it and offers a huge relief to the people who cannot get themselves medically checked for one reason or the other.

On the day of tour to MUL, MQI Lahore leaders Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Sanaullah Khan, Muhammad Hanif Qadri, Hafizullah Javed, Muhammad Rehan Chaudhry, Dr Muhammad Qasim, Dr Muhammad Asghar, and Sheikh Wakeel Ahmad were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Ghulam Farid said that half of Pakistan’s population lacks access to basic health facilities. He said that the poor do not have the means to afford the costly treatment which is getting costlier by the day. He said that what to speak of complete treatment, they cannot have their diseases diagnosed. He said that MQI Lahore has completed this project on self-help basis, which is praiseworthy and needs to be replicated.

Sanaullah Khan said that this mobile clinic and lab project is benefiting thousands of people in 30 PA constituencies of Lahore. He said that the mobile van has the facility of all tests, adding that MWF has been busy rendering its services to the ailing humanity under the leadership of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that service to the humanity without any discrimination is at the core of all religions and humanity.

The project that cost Rs. 5.7 million was inaugurated by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri himself a couple of weeks.
