Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri deeply grieved by the passing of Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor

The founding-leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has expressed his deep sorrow and grief at the sudden death of Minhaj-ul-Quran's senior central leader, Director of Dawah, and eminent religious scholar, Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor.

In his condolence statement, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor's passing. Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor was critically injured in a traffic accident last night.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that Allama Taimoor was a great leader, a stalwart, and his right-hand man in Minhaj-ul-Quran. His services for the promotion of the mission are commendable. The news of Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor's passing has deeply grieved thousands of Minhaj-ul-Quran members both domestically and internationally.

Dr Qadri said that Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor was a knowledge-loving and very sociable person and was a great asset to Minhaj-ul-Quran. His days and nights were devoted to the propagation of the true teachings of the religion of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). With his sudden passing, the members of Minhaj-ul-Quran and the academic circles have lost a distinguished personality. He prayed that Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of the deceased, make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and give his family the strength to bear this loss.

Chairman Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and President Minhaj-ul-Quran Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed their heartfelt sorrow at the death of Allama Ghulam Rabbani Taimoor, stating that he was a great leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran and his exemplary services for MQI serve as a role model for every member.

May Allah the Almighty grant him a high rank in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give the bereaved family the strength and patience to bear this great loss!
