Shahadat Imaam-e-Hussain (AS) held in Frankfurt am Maim

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Frankfurt am Maim) has been holding spiritual gatherings to promote the spirit of tolerance, harmony and love in the Muslim community in particular and mainstream community in general. The purpose of these gatherings has been to dispel erroneous impressions about Islam, expose terrorists and extremists and build understandings between the Muslim and other communities. On the 26th of December 2010 Minhaj ul Quran Frankfurt am Maim organized a Shahadat Imaam-e-Hussain Conference to mark the great sacrifice rendered by the grandson of the Holy Prophet (SAW). A large number of people including MQI’s members, the Youth League, and people of other Muslim communities attended the program.

The Conference started after Zohar Prayers with recitation from the Holy Quran by Allama Qari Faiz Ahmed, followed by a nasheed session. Nasheed performers included Allama Qari Faiz, his young students, Sikandar Ahmed and Usman Farooq. An old member of the Idara, Mohammad Afzal Qadri recited the last Naat. A recorded speech of Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri on the subject of d“Karbala se Sham Tak” was shown on the projector. All participants appreciated the breath-taking lecture by our beloved leader. It was for the first time that a lecture was shown via Video Projector. The program ended at 6:00 p.m. with the Asar prayer. Refreshment arrangements for the participants were made by Mohammad Ansar Butt.
