Al-Minhaj us-Sawi is a milestone work, the first work of its kind for many centuries. Al-Minhaj us-Sawi is the first hadith compendium to be compiled for 700 years after Mishkat al-Masabih of Imam Muhammad Khatib al-Tabrizi or Imam al-Nawawi's Riyad al-Salihin.
