Shab-e-Barat observed with religious fervor at the centre of MQI Oslo

The Shab-e-Barat was observed with religious fervor at the centre of MQI Oslo, which was attended by hundreds of people including men, women and children. The proceedings of the programme got under way with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat. The programme was divided into two parts. The first session of the programme concluded at 2 pm in which Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed on the topic of ‘What is Shab-e-Barat?’ Citing the Prophetic traditions, he said praying during the night and keeping fast during the day is established from the Sunna of the Prophet (saw). In addition to that, the Amir of MQI Oslo Allama Hassan Mir Qadri also delivered speech. Abdul Manan and Allama Shahbaz Ahmad Siddique presented tribute in the honour of the holy Prophet (saw). Allama Noor Ahmad Noor led a spiritualizing Dua at the conclusion of the first session. The participants kept weeping during the prayer. After the end of session, refreshment was served. Hafiz Imran, Atif Raoof and Sooban Noor recited Naat during the second session and that is how the blessed night came to an end.
