Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a historic country from the perspective of civilization. Being in Japan’s neighbourhood adds to its importance. The formal launching of Minhaj-ul-Quran International transpired in May 1996 after Shaykh-ul-Islam paid his first visit to the country. The role of the Pakistanis and Muslims has been exemplary in the Minhaj-ul-Quran Islamic centre. The centre enjoys the distinction of conducting welfare-oriented, moral and spiritual programmes. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri visited Hong Kong in 1996 and 2000.
