Birth of Shaykh-ul-Islam’s grandson celebrated around the world

Allah Almighty has blessed Raja Zahid Mahmood and Mohtrama Qurat-ul-Ain Fatima (son-in-law and daughter of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri) with a son. The birth of Hamid Mustafa Qadri is great news for the workers, associates and leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The workers of MQI organized ceremonies throughout the world to celebrate the auspicious occasion. They performed optional prayers and distributed sweets. They prayed to Allah Almighty to give good health and long wife to the newborn and enable to serve Islam and Pakistan.

On July 8, 2011, a prestigious ceremony was held in the central secretariat of MQI to celebrate the birth of Hamid Mustafa Qadri. Sweet was distributed among the people on this occasion. Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, central Amir-e-Tehreek, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, acting Secretary General, G.M. Malik, Rana Fayyaz Ahmad, Brig. (r ) Dr Abdullah Ranjha, Javed Iqbal Qadri, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam, Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, Haji Manzoor Hussain Qadri, Jawad Hamid and staff members attended the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani congratulated Mr. and Mrs. Raja Zahid Mahmood on the birth of their son on his own and on behalf of the leaders, workers and staff members of MQI. He said that the birth of a son to the couple is a sign of Allah’s and His Prophet’s blessings on MQI. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the newborn with a long life and make him useful for MQI.

Expressing his views in the ceremony, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz congratulated Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the birth of his grandson and prayed to Allah Almighty for safety, security and long life of Hamid Mustafa Qadri. He also felicitated Raja Zahid Mahmood and Baji Qur-tul-ain Fatima on the birth of their son.

Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Kha, Brig. (r ) Dr Abdullah Ranjha, Raja Jamil Ajmal, Jawad Hamid and Sajid Mahmood also spoke on the occasion. The program concluded on special Dua for the newborn.
