Delegation of Pakistan Chamber & Commerce UK visits central secretariat
A delegation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry UK called on MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri the other day. The delegation was led by Amjad Butt, president of the Chamber.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that there is a lot of scope of investment in the field of Islamic banking and Halal food. He said that Islamic banking sector is growing throughout the world, stating the Muslims business leaders and investors should take note of the massive opportunities in this field.
The delegation consisted of Amir Khawaja, Arshad Mahmood, Asad Hussain, Sardar Shafqat Khan, Syed Siraj Hussain, Sajid Khan, Shahid Mirza, Miss Farah Sheikh, Miss Tahira Butt, Miss Sajida Ayub, and others.
Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, GM Malik, Jawad Hamid, and Noorullah Siddiqi welcomed the delegation upon their arrival at the MQI secretariat. They said that they are pleased to learn that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is spreading the Islamic message of peace, interfaith dialogue and harmony in the world.
Khawaja Amir, the vice president of the Chamber, said that we congratulate Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on the presentation of solid recommendations regarding counterterrorism and peace-building at the forum of OIC.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presented a souvenir to the president of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry on their arrival at the central secretariat.
