Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri saddened by the death of cricketer Abdul Qadir

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the death of renowned cricketer and the leg-spin wizard Abdul Qadir. In his condolence message to the bereaved family, he prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant the family members courage and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Dr Qadri said that late Abdul Qadir was a humble person who brought laurels to Pakistan through his cricketing talents and achievements. Meanwhile, senior MQI leaders Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Jawad Hamid, Shahzad Rasool, Sohail Ahmad Raza, and Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry attended the funeral prayer for the deceased and prayed for the departed soul.

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and Noorullah Siddiqui also expressed their grief and sorrow on the passing away of legendary cricketer Abdul Qadir and expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family.
