International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference to be held at Minar-e-Pakistan

International Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference will be held at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan during the intervening night of the 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. 50 administrative committees have been set up to make arrangements. MQI founding leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his keynote address to the Conference. Secretary International Milad Committee Jawad Hamid paid a visit to Minar-e-Pakistan to inspect the venue so that proper arrangements could be put in place in time.

CWC met here at the central secretariat with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur in the chair. Speaking on the occasion, he said MQI celebrates the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) every year with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor. He said prominent personalities belonging to all walks of life and faith leaders are invited to the Milad events, stating that the central Conference at the Minar-e-Pakistan reflects interfaith harmony and tolerance.

Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, GM Malik, Muhammad Rafique Najam, Noorullah Siddiqui, Jawad Hamid, Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Irfan Yousaf, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, Sayyid Amjad Ali Shah, Haji Manzoor Hussain, Sarfraz Khan, Saeed Shah, Mufti Khalil Hanafi and others were present in the meeting.

Meanwhile, an MQI delegation of the senior leaders headed by Jawad Hamid visited the Minar-e-Pakistan in connection with the arrangements of the International Mawlid-un-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him) Conference. The delegates inspected arrangements for the central stage, entry and exit points, security and parking of the vehicles. Jawad Hamid gave instructions to the administrative committee after visiting the venue. Sarfraz Khan, Sanaullah Khan, Sultan Chaudhry, Saeed Akhtar, Saeed Shah and other leaders were part of the delegation.

Speaking at the Minar-e-Pakistan, Jawad Hamid said separate seating arrangements for male and female participants of the Conference will be made. He said reception camps will be set up at different locations in the city to guide and welcome the incoming caravans.
