The Quaid-i-Azam laid down guiding principles of Pakistan's foreign policy: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that a true Muslim and a patriotic citizen can neither be an extremist nor enemy of peace. He said Allah and His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) have enjoined upon the believers not to cross the limit and become moderate.

Talking about the Independence Day, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Quaid-i-Azam laid down the guiding principles of Pakistan's foreign policy on the occasion of the inauguration of Radio Pakistan on August 15, 1947. Muhammad Ali Jinnah stated that Pakistan's objective should be the pursuit of peace in the land as well as abroad. We want to live a peaceful life and wish to establish a peaceful, good-neighborly, and friendly relations with our neighbors. We do not entertain any aggressive designs against anyone. We support the UN Charter and would contribute our share to global prosperity, security, and peace.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that these words of wisdom uttered by the Quaid-i-Azam are in line with the Islamic teachings of peace and human brotherhood. He said Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is promoting the real ideology of Pakistan and Islam and leading the youth towards the path of moderation and peace. He said thanks to the global efforts of Dr Qadri, the path of interfaith harmony and dialogue has been paved.
