President Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that there is no space for sectarianism and extremism in Islam. He said that the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah impart a lesson of moderation, tolerance, and mutual love, and brotherhood. The religious seminaries have a critical role to play in establishing unity within various schools of thought and the elimination of religious factionalism.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri made these remarks after inaugurating the office of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan in Shah Latif Town, Karachi. He said that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan will go a long way in reviving the real status of the religious seminaries through its excellent educational and training roles. He said that the intellectual and ideological edifice of Islam is built on the principle of "no factions", stating that such a message of inclusion and pluralism will go a long way towards the establishment of an ideal Islamic society. He said that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan will achieve all targets through its qualified staff, excellent curriculum and training arrangements.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that the exemplary performance of Jamia Islamia Minhaj-ul-Quran over the last 35 years and the successful experiment of blending modern and religious education led to the establishment of Nizam-ul-Madaris. He invited the management of other religious seminaries and educational institutions to link their Madris with Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan so that the students can benefit from the curricular and extra-curricular activities and make their mark in life in their chosen field.
