The youth are the hope of Pakistan: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri || National Youth Convention
Pakistan is a victim of the biggest conspiracy. The abundance of incompetence and corruption in the land has greatly undermined the country including its moral ethos. The future of the coming generations is being made bleak and it is such a heinous conspiracy that we would be buried in the land and there would be identity of our culture and values. Our society has increasingly been turned into a society of the dead.
Founding-leader and patron-in-chief of MQI Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while addressing through an audio link the National Youth Convention held under the banner of Minhaj Youth League (MYL).
Shaykh-ul-Islam said that the political leadership does not consider an act of crime a crime, sin a sin and what is forbidden actually a forbidden thing. He said that the reality of the truth and lie stands exposed before the people.
Shaykh-ul-Islam said that it is the youth who are the hope of this country and a ray of light in the darkness. He asked the youth to stand up to safeguard their character, country and faith. He said that the hundreds of thousands of youth associated with MYL have made him proud, as they have always acted in line with the training imparted to them over the decades. He congratulated MYL President Mazhar Mahmood Alvi and his whole team on their educational, organizational and constructive contributions and services.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the National Youth Convention as a special guest and conveyed his greetings and appreciation to Mazhar Mahmood Alvi and his whole team on their wonderful performance and service.
Addressing the convention, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has been working towards reforming the conduct and building the character of the youth for the past four decades, for it is because of the hard work of the youth with integrity and high sense of morality that the destiny of the nation changes.
Chairman MQI said that the youth are the greatest asset of Pakistan. He said that our country is lucky to have 60% of its population consisting of the youth. He said that it is by benefiting from their capabilities and unlocking their potential that Pakistan can be put on the path of progress and prosperity.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the educational institutions have been set up under the banner of MQI, which are benefiting hundreds of thousands of the students and the youth across the country in terms of top quality education and training. He said that Allah Almighty likes those who spend their nights remembering His Name, adding that such pious youths are the asset of Muslim community.
Dr Hassan said that the youths have a central role in the history of rise and fall of nations. He said that lofty thinking, superior conduct, bravery, piety and respect for humanity are the key attributes of an ideal youth. He said that these are the youthful people who are the subject of Allama Iqbal’s poetry. He said that the youth equipped with modern education and character will play a decisive role in the establishment of Mustafavi society. He said that MQI will continue to perform the duty of character-building of the youth in line with the vision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that it also goes to the credit of MQI that it put the youth on the path of knowledge acquisition and peace and created a sense of moral responsibility in their hearts.
Speaking on the occasion, anchor person Ajmal Jami said that 190 million people are mobile phone users out of the population of 220 million. He said that the flood of information is threatening to submerge our youth and it is now on them to sift fact from fiction. He said that we have to find ways and means to face the ‘infodemic’ instead of letting it overwhelm us. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has created devotion among the youth to recite Salam and Durood, adding that this is the identity of MQI.
Addressing the ceremony, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that we are proud of our youth. He said that these youths are the educated face of Pakistan who have the potential and willingness to contribute meaningfully to the service of the motherland.
In his speech at the National Youth Convention, MYL central President Mazhar Mahmood Alvi said that national unity and integrity is the need of the hour. He said that Pakistan is passing through the worst period politically, socially and economically. He said that Pakistan’s youth is totally disappointed. He asked the youths belonging to all political parties to join hands together to save Pakistan. He said that the solution of Pakistan’s problems lies in the thoughts of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that Dr Qadri had predicted the conditions facing us today a decade ago. He said that the youth of MYL are the protector of Pakistan’s ideological frontiers.
Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Engineer Muhammad Rafique Najam, GM Malik, Jawwad Hamid, Noorullah Siddiqui, Tahir Khursheed, Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Arif Chaudhry, Sardar Umar Daraz Khan, Irfan Yousaf, Mansoor Qasim, Haji Farrukh and the district leadership of MYL from across the country attended the Convention.
