The launching ceremony of Irfan-ul-Quran in Danish language

The launching ceremony of Irfan-ul-Quran in Danish language (Den Strålende Koran) was held in Copenhagen. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the ceremony as a special guest and delivered his keynote address on the occasion. A large number of people including prominent religious, social and political notables and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Norway Ahmad Farooq were also part of the launching ceremony.

The proceedings of the programme got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Ahmad Yousaf followed by the recital of Naat by Allama Hasnain Farid. Hamza Yousaf read out the translation of the Holy Quran in Danish language, whereas Faiz Rasool was the master of ceremony.

In his address on the occasion, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Quran has been sent to humanity for its guidance, particularly it is a Divine Book of Wisdom for the believers who can read and understand it to unpack the secrets of the universe. He said that eloquence is part and parcel of the Holy Quran that whosoever reads it finds comfort and peace in their heart. He said that our success not only in this world but also in the hereafter lies in reciting the Holy Quran with full attention, understanding its message and then reshaping our lives accordingly.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized the need of persuading the youth towards the teachings of the Holy Quran. He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri rendered the translation of the Holy Quran in such a way that it has the attribute of interpretation. He said that he was happy to join the ceremony held to mark the launching of the translation of the Holy Quran in Danish language. He said that the translation was MQI’s gift to the Danish Muslims who will find it easy now to recite the Holy Quran and strengthen their bond with the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Chairman Supreme Council said that the translation of the Holy Quran done by Shaykh-ul-Islam has many attributes as it has been done keeping the requirements of the modern age. He said the Danish translation will help the local community understand the real teachings of the Holy Quran. He said that the quality of the translation is that it fulfills the needs of the readers for exegesis of the text.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Irfan-ul-Quran and the upcoming 30-volume exegesis of the Holy Quran by Shaykh-ul-Islam enables the believers to shape their lives in accordance with the real teachings of the faith so that they play a role befitting a true Muslim in the contemporary era. He asked the people to love the Quran, and read it with heart and soul and it will love them back and guide them at every stage of their life. He said there is no greater code of conduct than what has been described in the Holy Quran. He said that we should not merely study the Quran but also pass on its message to our succeeding generations.

Chairman Supreme Council congratulated Syed Mahmood Shah, Dr Nadeem Asim and their teams on the completion of the translation project. He lauded their dedication and commitment.

Syed Mahmood Shah Al-Azhari, Bilal Uppal, Babar Shafi, Dr Ikram Sarwar, Aga Abbas, Inam Dar, Iftikhar Butt, Muhammad Arbab Pervez Advocate, Muddassir Waseem, Muhammad Ayub, Usman Javed, Rizwan Ahmad Ch and dozens of the people belonging to the Pakistani community attended the ceremony.
