Muslims need education & research to regain their lost glory: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
A meeting of MQI’s Central Executive Committee was held here at the central secretariat with Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in the chair. The top office-holders of the zonal organizations, the presidents of all forums and other responsible people attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stressed the need for forging unity in the ranks of Muslim Ummah, and promoting knowledge and research to replace decline with the rise. He said that MQI has decided to set up thousands of the Centers of Knowledge in the country for the establishment of Mustafavi society.
Giving his directions about the organizational targets, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri asked the MQI members, leaders and associates to play their active role for the promotion of knowledge and enlightenment under the leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam. He highlighted the need for a role at the intellectual level to eradicate terrorism and extremism.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council expressed his satisfaction on the performance of the educational and welfare institutions of MQI and stated that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has devoted his life to the promotion of interfaith harmony, peace and dialogue.
