Former PM of Azad Kashmir & Speaker of Legislative Assembly visit MQI secretariat
Speaker of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar, former President and Prime Minister Sardar Yaqoob, former Advisor to the Government of Azad Kashmir Sardar Amjad Yousaf, Special Assistant Syed Azadar Shah, Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Assembly Nadim Khokhar, and Abbas Mir visited the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran yesterday.
On their arrival at the secretariat, they were welcomed by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Central Secretary Information Noorullah Siddiqui, Nazim-e-Ala of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Mir Asif Akbar, and Controller of Examinations of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi.
Former President and Prime Minister Sardar Yaqoob said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri's name is respected worldwide. The institution of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is active globally for the promotion of knowledge and peace. Serving humanity is the greatest worship, he said.
Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Latif stated that the services of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and his sons in the field of education are commendable. Such young individuals, he said, change the destinies of nations. The delegates performed the congregational prayer at Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran, where they met Chairman Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. The delegates also visited the Fared-e-Millat Research Institute and the central office of Darood Corner.
Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Latif and former President and Prime Minister Sardar Yaqoob became life members of Minhaj-ul-Quran after completing the formalities and appreciated the educational, reformative, and welfare services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and the institution of Minhaj-ul-Quran.
