His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was welcomed at Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran in Nelson, accompanied by Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri (Chairman Supreme Council MQI), Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri, Shaykh Ahmed Mustafa Al-Arabi Al-Qadri, and Dr. Ghazala Qadri (President Minhaj Women League International).

Shaykh-ul-Islam addressed the overflowing audience at MQI Nelson, who had come from across the Lancashire region to benefit from the blessed suhbah of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri.

His Eminence spoke about the importance of intention (niyah) and ensuring that our intentions are pure. Shaykh-ul-Islam emphasised that without a good intention (naik niyah), any action (amal) is not accepted in the court of Almighty Allah. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that every act is performed with the right and pure intention.
His Eminence elaborated on the concept of sincere intention by referencing anecdotes, explaining that these stories are not meant to be scrutinised but rather to provide guidance. He stressed that spiritual growth should begin today by striving to make our intentions pure, purer, and purest. Whatever work we do; whether it be mission, movement, organization, invitation, propagation of faith, publication of religious texts, preaching, companionship, or dealings with others should be done solely for the pleasure of Allah, without expecting any reward or compensation.

Shaykh-ul-Islam also visited the women participating on the separate floor from Minhaj Women League UK, Minhaj Sisters UK, and local female members of MQI, along with supporters from the community.

The event was attended by prominent members, including the President of MQI UK, Syed Ali Abbas Bukhari, Moazzam Raza, Abu Adam Al Shiraazi, Ghulam Murtaza, Seerat Ali Khan, Ahsan Khan, Faisal Hussain Mash’hadi (MD of Minhaj Welfare Foundation), Adnan Sohail, Raja Babar Hussain (France), Sarmad Javed (Italy), Muhammad Asim (Norway), Zartash Bashir (Norway), Dilshad (France), Shaykh Mufti Sohail Ahmed Siddiqui, Allama Muhammad Afzal Saeedi, Allama Haroon Abbasi, Allama Abdul Saeed, Allama Abdul Sattar Siraj, and other distinguished individuals from various walks of life.
