Prayer Ceremonies Held for the Eternal Rest of Engineer Tariq Fareed's Soul
Prayer gatherings for the eternal rest of Engineer Muhammad Tariq Fareed Qadri's soul (late), the younger brother of the founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, were held in various cities in Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
In a special event held in Manchester, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri also participated. The central prayer ceremony for the eternal rest of the deceased took place in Jhang, where Deputy Secretary-General Allama Rana Muhammad Idris, Sibgatullah Qadri, the late brother's sons, family members, and Minhaj-ul-Quran workers and supporters participated in large numbers.
At the conclusion of the event in Manchester, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri led the prayers.
Addressing the gathering in Manchester, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that death is not the end of a person’s life, but rather a transition from one world to another. He said that the successful and wise are those who, in this mortal world, accumulate a treasure of good deeds for eternal life.
In honor of the late brother of Shaykh-ul-Islam, Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK held similar prayer gatherings at various Islamic centers in London, Nelson, Walsall, Bradford, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Dundee.
In the prayer gathering held in Jhang, the late brother’s sons, Imran Tariq, Usman Tariq, and Rizwan Tariq, along with Sahibzada Muhammad Tahir Qadri, Muhammad Abbas Naqshbandi, Ali Waqar Qadri, Professor Zulfiqar Ali, Haji Abdul Khaliq, Syed Abu Dawood Shah Bukhari, and Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf participated.
