Speeches Delivered by Dr. Tahir Raza Bukhari, Dr. Sarwar Naqshbandi, Safdar Ali Mohsin and Others

While addressing the training workshops held under the unique theme “Al-Natiq” at the Hassan bin Thabit Naat Institute, established under Minhaj University Lahore, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, said that speech devoid of insight is empty of wisdom.
He stated that every word uttered by the tongue is a trust, and the first responsibility for safeguarding it lies with the speaker. He said that scholars, preachers, teachers, missionaries, analysts, anchorpersons, and anyone who speaks publicly should pay special attention to study and training in order to refine and strengthen their vocal delivery. The Holy Qur’an describes one of the qualities of a believer as possessing firm and upright speech (Qawl-e-Sadeed), meaning that a believer’s words are clear, precise, and free from ambiguity. Words themselves are important, but their appropriate use and manner of expression carry their own distinct impact.
The “Al-Natiq” training session was also attended and addressed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Sajid Mahmood Shehzad, Syed Dr. Tahir Raza Bukhari, Director of Hassan bin Thabit Naat Research Center Dr. Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi, renowned anchor Safdar Ali Mohsin, Syed Shakeel Anjum Gilani, Hafiz Muhammad Arshad Naqshbandi, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Nasir Mahmood, and a large number of male and female students who participated in the discussion.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that the angels appointed with every human being are recording their words, and every statement uttered by a person will be presented on the Day of Judgment through their record of deeds. The Holy Qur’an discusses this subject in detail and uses various terms such as kalam (speech), qawl (statement), bayan (expression), balagh (communication), lisan (tongue), nutq (utterance), and naba (news). He emphasized that Allah Almighty granted hearing before speech; therefore, any discourse that lacks attentive listening and insight is devoid of wisdom.
Director of the Naat Research Center, Dr. Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi, while shedding light on the training session, said that the workshop was organized to promote the art of oratory and effective communication. He added that Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Naat Research Center is also offering specialized technical training courses in this field.
