The Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a Practical Miracle for Humanity: Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
The Noble Character of the Prophet (PBUH) Refines Personal, Family, and Social Life Wisdom, Gentleness, and Good Character Are Essential in the Tone of a Preacher: Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran
Address during Thought-Provoking Spiritual Gatherings on “The Noble Character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)” in the Last Ten Days of Ramadan

The founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj‑ul‑Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir‑ul‑Qadri, has stated that the blessed Seerah (life and character) of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a practical miracle for all humanity. Every aspect of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life teaches people the values of noble character, elevated conduct, and service to humanity.
He expressed these views while delivering the first address of a spiritual and training gathering held at the International Secretariat of Minhaj‑ul‑Quran International in Model Town during the last ten days of Ramadan. The theme of his series of lectures is “The Noble Character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).”
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the pure life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is itself a great miracle. Just as the challenge was given regarding the Holy Qur’an to produce even a single chapter like it, similarly the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life and character were presented before the people of Makkah as proof of his truthfulness.
He added that despite more than fourteen centuries passing, no one has been able to produce a text comparable to the Holy Qur’an, nor has any character emerged in the world comparable to the character of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He further explained that before the declaration of prophethood, Allah presented the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) character to the world for forty years as evidence, so that the truthfulness of the message of monotheism would be clearly established through the integrity of the messenger.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri emphasized that the true power of religious preaching lies not in words but in the authenticity of one’s character. He remarked that the tragedy of the present time is that people preach religion but fail to present its practical proof through their morals and conduct.
He said that the Holy Qur’an has clearly outlined the principle of inviting people to faith: calling them towards the path of Allah with wisdom and the best manner. If a preacher’s tone carries hatred, harshness, or rudeness, such preaching cannot influence hearts.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri noted that Khadija bint Khuwaylid expressed her certainty about the success of the Prophet (PBUH) on the basis of seven great moral qualities: maintaining family ties, truthfulness, helping the weak, supporting the needy, hospitality, and assisting those afflicted in the cause of truth.
He said that if the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH) is viewed as a book, the words of Lady Khadija (RA) represent the “Surah Al-Fatiha” of that book. Just as the Holy Qur’an begins with Surah Al‑Fatiha, her seven statements summarize the fundamental moral principles of the Prophet’s life.
He further stated that the noble character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a complete source of guidance that beautifies and reforms a person’s personal, family, social, and collective life. If people adopt the Seerah of the Prophet as the standard of their lives, an atmosphere of love, brotherhood, and high moral values can be established in society.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri also said that the noble character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) reflects the attributes of Allah. The Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) compassion toward relatives and others is, in reality, a manifestation of divine mercy.
Shaykh-ul-Islam added that the events and details of the Prophet’s blessed life have been preserved just as the Holy Qur’an has been preserved. Allah Himself is the protector of the Qur’an and also the protector of the Seerah of the Prophet. Allah has declared the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a model and standard for all humanity until the Day of Judgment.
The first session of the spiritual and training gathering was attended by Chairman Supreme Council Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, along with Dr. Qaiser Rafiq, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brigadier (R) Umar Hayat, Dr. Rafiq Najm, Dr. Shahzad Mujaddadi, Jawad Hamid, Colonel (R) Khalid Javed, Rana Waheed Shahzad, Allama Malik Shafqat Abbas, Dr. Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Dr. Ghazala Hasan Qadri, Ms. Fizza Hussain Qadri, Allama Ashfaq Chishti, Sheikh Farhan Aziz, Shehzad Rasool, Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, and a large number of central, provincial, and district leaders of the organization, scholars, spiritual leaders, and men and women participants.
