Lahore rally will be a referendum in favour of revolution: Dr. Qadri
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has said the PAT rally in Lahore today will be a referendum in favour of revolution, ARY News reported.
“Lahore is a trendsetter for entire Pakistan. This city will give a message across the world against corruption and bad governance,” he said while talking to supporters at Islamabad sit-in before leaving for Minar-e-Pakistan.
The rally today will decide whether Lahore wants status quo or not, Dr. Qadri said.
The PAT chief the public meeting in the Punjab capital will also decide that ‘who owns Lahore’.
He said the current entire system of governance is based on corruption. Dr. Qadri sounded firm and committed that the ‘battle of revolution’ would be won by people of Pakistan.
He was of the view that ‘it will prove to be a day of success today.’
