Shaykh-ul-Islam arrives in Cairo for Egypt Tour 2012

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri arrived in Cairo (Egypt) on the 19th October. This visit is part of Shaykh-ul-Islam’s lectures series and his efforts for propagation of Islamic message of peace, interfaith harmony and dialogue.

Sahibzada Dr. Hasan Mohiuddin Qadri along with delegates from Al Azhar University welcomed Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to Cairo, where a spiritual 10-day tour of the country will be taking place, featuring lectures of Shaykh ul Islam at venues around the country, visits to the holy shrines of saints in Khumaysarah, Luxor, and Alexandria, and a spiritual trip to Mount Sinai.

Prominent scholars, executive members of numerous MQI centres across Europe, and a large number of Al Azhar graduates and students were present at the occasion to welcome Shaykh-ul-Islam to the ancient and historic city of Cairo.

During this tour Shaykh ul Islam will be delivering a lecture on Sunday 21st October in the Salih Kamil Conference hall at Al Azhar University and on Monday 22nd October, he will be speaking at the Al Azhar International Student City addressing an expected 5000 international students.

Executive members and affiliates of MQI have arrived in Cairo from across Europe, including Denmark, France, UK, Netherlands, and Italy, to take part in this spiritual tour of Egypt.
