Nottingham: Annual Milad program held
On the 18th of October 2021, during the blessed night of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham organised Mahfil e Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) at Masjid As Shefa Bobbersmill Community Centre Nottingham UK.
Alhamdulillah, it was a very successful programme. From the very beginning, Minhaj-ul-Quran Nottingham and Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Nottingham have been working together in Nottingham. This programme was one of a series held over 12 days, starting from the 1st of Rabi-ul-Awwal. A Large number of people including ladies and children came to attend this programme after a long period of lockdown.
The programme started at 6:45 pm with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Nasir Qadri (Dawa Secretary MQI Nottingham). Our local Naat khawans recited greetings and salutation upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
MFW UK Director Adnan Sohail gave a presentation and information regarding MWF work across the globe. Our guest speaker Allama Zeshan Qadri, student of Shaykh-ul-Islam, delivered keynote speech on the life of the Holy Prophet (pbuh), the merciful. He beautifully described the conduct and mercy of our Prophet (pbuh) for the whole mankind.
The program ended with Durood-o-Salam and Dua. Milad feast was distributed at the end.
