UK: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Attends Jummah at Bobbers Mill Community Centre

His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended Jumu‘ah prayers at Bobbers Mill Community Centre, Nottingham.
Upon arrival, Shaykh-ul-Islam was warmly welcomed by Dr Musharraf Hussain, CEO of the Karimia Institute, alongside representatives and senior members of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nottingham, including Raja Muhammad Fazil Khan, President of MQI Nottingham and Deputy Town Mayor of Ollerton Town Council. A large gathering of men and women was also present to receive His Eminence.
The Jumu‘ah prayer was led by Pir Syed Lakhte Hassanain, Chairman of Muslim Hands International.
Following the prayer, Shaykh-ul-Islam delivered a brief yet inspiring Naseehah centred on four fundamental relationships that every believer should cultivate:
1. Harmony and conformity with Allah’s will
A believer should align their thoughts, intentions and actions with the commands of Allah Almighty, and accept His decree with sincerity, patience and contentment.
2. Obedience and devotion to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
This is expressed through following the Sunnah, adhering to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ and making his noble example the model for every aspect of life.
3. Compassion, goodwill and positive engagement with creation
Muslims are required to treat people with kindness, justice, patience and respect, while striving to serve others and contribute positively to society.
4. Detachment from the desires of the lower self
This involves resisting selfish desires, controlling the ego and pursuing spiritual purification through self-discipline, remembrance of Allah and sincere struggle against the nafs.
Shaykh-ul-Islam emphasised that success in this world and the Hereafter lies in establishing these four relationships and embodying them in daily life. He explained that they form the foundation of a balanced spiritual life and provide the pathway to attaining the pleasure and nearness of Allah Almighty.
