USA, Connecticut: Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al Madani Al Qadri Delivers Lecture on “The Universality of Prophetic Sirah and The Sermon of Jerusalem”

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri delivered the fourth lecture of his USA tour series “The Sīrah & Modern Times: The Universality of Prophetic Sīrah and The Sermon of Jerusalem” at a special gathering hosted by Minhaj ul-Qur'an Connecticut in Wethersfield Community Center, Hartford

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri reflected on the challenges faced by the Holy Prophet ﷺ during the Year of Sorrow, following the passing of Sayyidah Khadijah al-Kubra (رضی اللہ عنہ) and Abu Talib, as well as the intense persecution endured by the early Muslim community. He explained how Allah Almighty honoured His Beloved ﷺ through the miraculous journey of Al-Isra wal-Mi‘raj, granting him comfort, elevation, and a unique gathering with the Prophets and Messengers in Bayt al-Maqdis. There, the Holy Prophet ﷺ addressed an assembly of 124,000 Prophets, delivering a profound sermon that highlighted His ﷺ mission and the blessings bestowed upon His ﷺ Ummah.

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri highlighted the profound significance of the Qur'anic declaration that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sent as “a mercy to all the worlds.” Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri explained that the mercy of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is universal in scope, extending beyond race, nationality, and religion, encompassing all of humanity and indeed all creation.

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri further emphasised that the Prophetic model is multidimensional, offering guidance in every sphere of life. Whether in spirituality, family relationships, community leadership, business ethics, social conduct, or interactions with the wider world, the Sīrah provides a complete framework for achieving balance, excellence, and success. Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri noted that the Holy Prophet ﷺ was not merely a spiritual guide, but the perfect example for every aspect of human life.

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri explained that despite advances in technology, communication, and society, the fundamental challenges facing humanity remain unchanged. The Sīrah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ continues to provide timeless solutions for overcoming injustice, responding to hardship with patience, and mercy, compassion, and moral excellence in an increasingly complex world.

Concluding the lecture, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri reminded attendees that the greatness of the Holy Prophet ﷺ was manifested not only through His ﷺ message but through His ﷺ character and conduct.
