Ramadan is a collection of Allah’s blessings and rewards, a month where the faithful should endeavor their best to make the most of this rare opportunity. This is the month of patience, sacrifice, self-control, and empathy. We have to determine how we can enrich ourselves with Allah’s blessings, how we can do as many deeds as possible, how we can reorganize and reform our personality, conduct, and behavior in these blessed 30 days.”
On Saturday, June 4th, 2016, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Dallas commemorated the devotion, piety, sacrifice, purity, and leadership of Sayyida Kainaat Fatima al Zahra (RadiAllahuAnha). This auspicious event was held in the ornate Uways al-Qarani auditorium of Jame’ Hasan al-Basri & Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas. Naqibah Ashraf, pre-Law student of Cornell University, was the MC for this blessed event. The beautiful program began with the recitation of Surah al-Insan, verses 5-22 by Minhaj Youth League Coordinator, Sister Mariyah Qazi.
During his visit to the US in November 2014, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Leader Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered a captivating address to a great gathering of overseas Pakistanis in Dallas, Texas on the topic of democratic rights of overseas Pakistanis. The community leaders and party members gathered together on a shared platform to not only listen to the words and perspectives of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, but also to provide their own brief viewpoints and concerns
