Dallas, USA: Grand Mawlid Al-Nabi ﷺ Program held

“The birth of Holy Prophet ﷺ to is the greatest blessing of Allah Almighty which steered the whole mankind from the darkness of evils.”

With this message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, management of Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas organized the blessed gathering of Milad-Nabi ﷺ to kindle the light of the love and respect of Rasool Allah ﷺ in the heart of each and every Muslim. The program was well coordinated by two MCs from Minhaj Youth League coordinators namely Brother Zohair and Mobeen Mian.

This very spiritual gathering commenced with the recitation of the Quran by Imam of Jame’ Hasan Al-Basri who is from Egypt. Shaykh Abdullah Deeb from Syria also recited the Quran after the Imam ﷺ. Next, in the praise of Almighty Allah, Brother Shoaib recited a melodic Hamd. A series of harmonious nasheeds were recited in the praise of the Holy Prophet (SAW) by brothers Sayyid Ali, Malik Akram and Imtiaz Jaan which all the attendees listened with spellbound silence.

A special segment of the program was the announcement for the completion of the PhD of Dr. Summar Shoaib. Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas President Dr. Mansoor acknowledged the hard work and dedication of Dr. Summar Shoaib to achieve the Doctorate degree. Dr. Summar Shoaib is the first woman in the USA who recently completed her PhD. degree on October 29, 2018 from Emory University, Georgia with the dissertation title as Fulfilling the Mission: Minhaj-ul-Quran, Women's Authority and re-instilling Love for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Dr. Summar moved to Dallas in 2016 to reside close to Minhaj-ul-Quran Center in Dallas to observe the activities of the center in particular the role of women spreading the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran in the USA. On this blessed occasion of Mawlid al-Nabi ﷺ, Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas President Woman League Sr. Riffat Qazi presented the recognition shield to Dr. Summar Shoaib.

The next segment of the program consisted of housekeeping announcement by Brother Iqbal Hasan followed by recognition of two Sunday school students for their passion to attend Daily Mawlid al-Nabi ﷺ program since it is started last week.

Another significant part of the program was the inspirational speech of Dr. Farid Farooqi who explained the significance of Mawlid al-Nabi (pbuh) from several verses of the Quran. Free Cds on the lectures of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri were distributed to the attendees. On this blessed occasion, books written by Shaykh-ul-Islam was also given on a discounted price.

The last segment of the program consisted of brief speech on the excellent Morals of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The program concluded collectively with Salam and dua. Milad feast was held for all the attendees after the conclusion of the program. The program was telecast live on Minhaj Dallas facebook.com.
