Peshawar: PAT to be organized in KPK: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of Supreme Council, has said that reservations of the smaller provinces regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor should be addressed. He said that the government should satisfy Balochistan and KPK in the light of agreed-upon communique of All-Parties Conference (APC). He said that unless federating units are satisfied, the Corridor cannot be dubbed as a national project. He said that we have started the work of organizing the PAT from KPK.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing an organizational convention of the PAT and MQI in Peshawar yesterday. He announced to spend two days in KPK and hold meetings with the workers during his stay. He said that the brave people of KPK are bravely fighting the scourge of terrorism, adding that they have rendered enormous sacrifices for security of 200 million Pakistanis for which we pay them our homage.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that it is surprising that while the elected governments of KPK and Balochistan are expressing their reservations about the Corridor, whereas the rulers have the audacity of rejecting the facts regarding change of route. He said that although we are not part of Parliament, yet we are with the people of Sindh, KPK and Balochistan in their struggle for their rights and would not let anyone usurp their rights.

Speaking on the occasion, PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that it is a matter of satisfaction that significant improvement has come in the police, revenue and education departments during last two and half years in KPK. He said that Punjab is a police state where police dances to the tune of their political masters whereas revenue and education departments of Punjab are hub of corruption.

Chief Organizer Maj. (r) Muhammad Saeed said that we would organize the PAT in KPK. He said that the people of KPK love Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and rendered great sacrifices during the sit-in.

Allama Syed Farhat Hussain Shah, Raja Waqar, Shahzad Naqvi, Amjad Ali Shah, and Dr Shabbir Gilani also spoke on the occasion. The hundreds of PAT and MQI workers and office holders were present on the occasion.
