Knowledge source of moral training & enlightenment: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has said that knowledge is a light and the students should not confine themselves to learning knowledge for the sake of jobs alone. He said that it is due to our love for material possession and making knowledge the source of it that the sages such as Rumi, Razi and Ghazali are not being born among us. He asked the students to use knowledge as the source of serving Islam, Pakistan and the whole humanity besides using it for their personal development and moral training. He said that though quantity of knowledge has gone up but its quality has come down. It is high time that the policy makers pondered over this state of affairs.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing a welcome party arranged by the senior students of COSIS in the honour of the new comers the other day. Renowned Artist Hani Albaila made a special appearance on the occasion. Bazm-e-Minhaj office bearers Muhammad Yousaf and Talha Rasheed arranged the welcome party. Muhammad Waqas conducted the proceedings of the programme. Shahzad Rasool, Abdul Hafiz Ch and Sohail Raza welcomed Hani Albaila on his arrival at the central secretariat.

Speaking to the participants of the party, the renowned actor said that he is very pleased to attend the party that has been hosted to welcome the new students. He said that he offers tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for setting up educational institutions that focus equally on moral training and imparting of contemporary knowledge. He said that Dr Qadri is an asset of not only Pakistan but also of the whole Muslim world. He said that he is our introduction in the outside world. He entertained the audience by cracking jokes and also distributed prizes among the students. He took a round of various departments and directorates of MQI. Dua was made for the departed soul of Haji Muhammad Albaila in the Gosh-a-Durood. He also held a meeting with Secretary Information Noorullah Saddiqi in the media cell.
