Students of Minhaj Institute of Qira’at & Tehfeez-ul-Quran awarded completion certificates

A prestigious ceremony of awarding certificates of Hifz-ul-Quran among 201 male and 43 female children was held at the central secretariat under the banner of Minhaj Institute of Qira’at & Tehfeez-ul-Quran. MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the guest of honour.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the act of learning and teaching the Quranic sciences is the best of the acts. He said that the best way to preserve the Holy Quran is to learn it by heart. He said that in order to fulfill this religious requirement, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri set up Tehfeez-ul-Quran Institute and hundreds of students are being produced in this institution. He said that the Holy Quran is the source of guidance for those who meditate over it and act upon its teachings in their lives. The students recited Naats in the ceremony in their melodious voices.

Chairman Supreme Council of Minaj-ul-Quran International Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Qari Noor Chishti, Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Brig (r ) Muhammad Iqbal, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Abbas Naqshbandi, Dr Samar Fatima, Haji Imdadullah Qadri, Allama Farhat Hussain Shah, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Jawad Hamid, Allama Rai Muzammil Hussain Mehdi, Allama Saeed Ahmad Farooqi, Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Murtaza Alvi, Allama Zeeshan Bukhari, and Abid Sabri distributed certificates among the successful students on the rare honour of completing the learning of the Holy Quran by heart.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the MQI Supreme Council Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Quran offers a complete code of conduct. He said that the way to achieve success in this world and the hereafter lies in the teachings of the Holy Book. He said that it is negligence on our part that we are not benefitting from this most precious source of guidance. He said that who he seeks to segregate between the Holy Quran and Sunna are damaging the cause of Islam. He said that we are getting disgraced in the world because we are not connected with the Holy Book. He said that the role being played by MQI to popularize the Islamic teachings is the dire need of the present times.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Quran is the Book of guidance for the whole humanity and its impact and fruits will continue to appear till the Day of Judgment. He said that every individual and society can benefit from the Holy Quran. He congratulated the children who learnt the Holy Quran by heart and stated that these children and their parents are truly privileged because they dedicated themselves to preserving the Word of Allah. He also congratulated the teachers for doing wonderful job in educating the children in the best of manner.

Principal Tehfeez-ul-Quran College Allama Abbas Naqshbandi presented the performance report of the Institute. He threw light on the teaching methodology.
