66th birthday of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to be celebrated with traditional fervor

The 66th birthday of PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will be celebrated across the world including Pakistan with traditional zeal and fervor on February 19. The celebrations will begin at the central secretariat in Lahore and Islamic centres across 100 countries on the morning of February 19 with Quran Khawani and Naat gatherings. Cakes will be cut and Dua will be made for good health and long life of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.

The birthday ceremony in this regard will be held at 11 am at the Minhaj University Lahore where cake will be cut and ‘Ambassador of Peace’ seminar will be held on the occasion. The weeklong celebrations including inter-collegiate declamation contests are being organized from February 13 onward under Bazm-e-Minhaj, Minhaj University. These contests are being attended by male and female students from different educational institutions and universities.

According to Noorullah Saddiqui, spokesperson of PAT, ceremonies related to birthday of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will be held in schools, colleges and Islamic centres under the MQI. The PAT has also arranged functions in which services and contributions of Dr Qadri will be highlighted. The exhibitions of books written by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will be held under the banner of Minhaj Women League at different points in the Lahore city.

The youths belonging to MSM, Minhaj Youth League, PAT Youth Wing and Minhaj Welfare foundation will give blood donations on February 19. They will also distribute food in different jails on that day. MQI will organize a ceremony by the name of ‘Shab-e-Dua’ on the intervening night of February 19 and 20. Minhaj Ulama Council will also celebrate the Quaid day in a befitting fashion.

The central birthday ceremony will be held at the central secretariat of PAT on Feb 19 that will be attended by people belonging to various walks of life.
