PAT announces to answer ‘Why was I ousted?’ question

PAT has launched a campaign to answer the question as to why “I was ousted from power” and this involves a mass contact drive. Two inaugural workers’ conventions were held in Faisalabad and Narowal in this regard, which were addressed by senior PAT leader Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri respectively.

Addressing the workers’ convention in Faisalabad, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that elections 2018 will prove to be a 9/11 for the corrupt mafia. He said that the Constitution has been calling out to the institutions and the people in the form of message delivered by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri since 2012. He said that those asking as to why they were thrown out of the power should know that it was the tears and sobbing of the oppressed families of the martyrs of Model Town, who were the cause behind their unceremonious exit.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is fighting a war for the bright future of the succeeding generations and this war will reach its logical conclusion. He said that we have rendered sacrifices both in man and material and the killers should know that this war will not be left incomplete. He said that they have become orphan in a system they helped evolve. He said that jackals making a noise of ‘why I was ousted?’ are running to the jungle.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Basharat Jaspal, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Mian Abdul Qadir, Rana Tahir Saleem, Muhammad Waheed, Khalil Bhutta, Mian Muhammad Ashraf, Iftikhar Randhawa, Sajid Hussain and Raja Zahid also addressed the Convention.

The President of MQI Supreme Council said that it was in the chilling winter season in January 2013 and August-September 2014, hot sizzling months of the year that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri read out the call of the Constitution to the people of Pakistan. He explained the importance of Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution and made people remember these provisions by heart and these are the same Articles that have caused the demise of the arrogant rulers.

Addressing the Convention, PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that it is with the establishment of the Election Commission as per requirement of the Constitution and introduction of election reforms that real democracy will be possible. He said that in the same way when the real representatives of the people are elected to the assemblies that the fate of the country and its citizens will change for the better.

Basharat Jaspal said that the revolution of Nawaz Sharif is that when someone raises questions about the ill-gotten money, he should be attacked. He said that those who are notorious for buying loyalties in the jungle of Changa Manga have no right to talk about the sanctity of the vote.

Mian Rehan Maqbool said that the forces of status quo can never accept the people’s right to rule. He said that we would never accept the slavery of one family in the garb of democracy. He said that the claims of ending load-shedding will be tested in the months of June and July. He said that the people of Faisalabad are not only ready to struggle for peaceful change but also very eager about it. He said that it is the workers of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri who will give a final push to the crumbling walls of the ruling political elite.

Meanwhile, addressing another workers’ convention in Narowal, MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the PAT is doing the politics of values, traditions, public service and democracy instead of power. He said that it is the credit of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and MQI that they presented a narrative to counter terrorism, and militancy in the world and projected the peaceful face of Islam.

Dr Hussain said that our politics revolves around educating people about their rights and empowering them in the real sense. He said that we do not just talk but are actually walking the talk by working on the gorund. He said that the state of the art Orphan Care Home by the name of Aagosh is working in Lahore and a similar institute has recently been inaugurated in Karachi that is providing education and free boarding and lodging facilities to the orphan children. He said that similar institutes of public services are being established in Narowal, Sialkot and other cities.

The MQi President said that on the one hand, there is Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri who has set up scores of institutions of public service that are benefitting millions of the people and there is a mafia on the other side that has looted the wealth of this country mercilessly and has now the gall of making a noise, asking as to why it was expelled from power. He said that the facts that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri stated in his public speeches in 2012 and 2014, the decisions are being handed down by the courts on the same facts today.
