Arrangements completed for 35th International Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference
The arrangements for the 35th Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference to be held at historic Minar-e-Pakistan under the banner of the MQI have been completed. PAT Chairman and the founding leader of MQI, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, will deliver his special address at the Conference at 1 a.m. The delegations of different political, social and religious parties will attend the Conference.
A separate platform has been set up for the electronic media, whereas hundreds of the social media activists associated with the MQI will cover the mega event live on various social media platforms for which an exclusive media cell has been established. The arrangements were being made for last one week and the 60 administrative committees were made to ensure that the arrangements are in place well on time. There will be fireworks on display at the Fajr time, marking the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Hundreds of thousands of people from different cities of Pakistan will attend the Conference.
Jawad Hamid, Secretary of the central management committee, informed that the whole venue has been tastefully decorated. He said that renowned Qaris and Naat Khawans will present their heart-felt tributes in the court of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that huge hoardings have also been hung across the Lahore city and the surrounding areas of Minar-e-Pakistan have been beautified befittingly. Thousands of women will also participate in Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference for which separate arrangements have been made. Greetings and salutations (durood and salam) will be sent on the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a number that runs into billions. Local Administration and police have been requested for provision of the fool proof security. In addition to the official security, hundreds of the youth associated with MYL and MSM will also perform security-related duties.
Jawad Hamid further told that huge sized LED screens have been set up around the Minar-e-Pakistan through which thousands of the people will also be able to watch the proceedings of the Conference live. He said that the MQI celebrates the occasion of Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ magnificently, adding that no stone will be left unturned in this regard. He said that in addition to renowned scholars and intellectuals, the faith leaders representing different communities and religions will also be part of the Conference on special invitation. He said that grounds of Minar-e-Pakistan have been bearing witness to the mega event for last 34 years. He said that the speech of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will be shown around the world through internet. He said that the work related to the making of central stage has reached its final stage. He said that five walk through gates have been set up for entry of the people into the venue. The important people will use gate no 5 for entrance. He said that reception camps have also been set up at the entry points of Lahore to guide the caravans.
