Women should seek guidance from the life of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.): MWL
President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Mrs. Farah Naz has said that the Muslim women will have to mould their character in line with the life of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.) and it is only this way that our collective fall can be replaced by rise. She said that by founding MWL, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has given this message to the women that without making the personality of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.) our ideal, the future of the next generations cannot be made bright nor will we be to succeed without getting the blessings of her revered life.
Mrs. Farah Naz made these remarks while addressing a ceremony held at the central secretariat to mark the death anniversary of Sayyida Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.). She said that the personality of Hazrat Fatima (RA) is a beacon of light for the whole of humanity. She said that the women will have to make the learning of modern and classical knowledge their top priority. She said that it is by following the path of Sayyida-e-Kainat that women can become the paragon of patience, piety and steadfastness, adding that this is the way of salvation for the women.
President MWL said that if we correct our actions, our conditions can change. She said that the mothers will have to take a leaf from the life of Sayyida-e-Kainat to train their children and impart them moral and spiritual values. She said that Hazrat Fatima (S.A) brought up her sons, Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S) and Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S), in such a splendid manner that they saved humanity by offering supreme sacrifice. She said that we need mothers and daughters who are motivated and driven by the life of Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.) and are willing to implement her ‘uswa’ in their lives at individual and collective lives. She said that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) would keep his daughter in his blessed company, stating that we will have to implement this principle in our lives as well. She said that we should strive consciously to convey the teachings of Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) to the succeeding generations, stating that it is the collective responsibility of the Islamic community.
Mrs. Farah Naz further said that MWL is going to arrange a Conference on the topic of ‘women’s greatness lies in following the life of Hazrat Fatima al-Zahra’ (S.A.)’ on the 11th of May at Al-Hamrah Hall in Lahore in which important women leaders belonging to different walks of life will speak and share their views.
