Death in the way of Allah represents lasting life: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Paygham-e-Imam Hussain Conference

Addressing 'Paygham-e-Imam Hussain (Alayhas-salam) Conference' held at the central secretariat yesterday, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said death in the way of Allah Almighty is not death but the beginning of eternal life. He said the sacrifice offered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (Alayhas-salam) was for the sake of upholding the banner of Islam. He stood up to whatever he found to be objectionable in the Yazidi system of government. He rendered the ultimate sacrifice of his life and that of his companions but did not compromise on his principles and ideology. He said the message of Karbala is to stand firm for truth.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the martyrs rendered the sacrifices of their lives in every age but the acceptance and universality that came to the share to the martyrs of Karbala is unprecedented. He said all Muslims are united in faith and no power of the world can sow the seeds of discord and disunity among us. Dr Hassan thanked the religious scholars and Mashaykh belonging to all schools of thought for their participation in 'Paygham-e-Imam Hussain Conference', stating that they demonstrated unity and oneness in our ranks.
