Canada: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visits MQI Centre

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mod-ud-Din Qadri visited Minhaj-ul-Quran International Canada on September 13, 2020. The National Executive Council members and other senior leaders of MQI Canada warmly welcomed him on his arrival at the Centre.

The proceedings of the meeting got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Shafique Naeemi Al-Azhari followed by Naat that was recited by Sufi Tariq.

President MQI Canada Kamran Rasheed and General Secretary Khalid Iqbal gave the introduction of NEC members and also briefed him about the progress of the Canada organization. The also provided details of how activities at MQI centre are being managed during coronavirus pandemic.

Dr Hassan Moh-ud-Din Qadri congratulated all the NEC members on their appointment and advised them to work hard to spread MQI’s message of peace, brotherhood, and interfaith harmony throughout Canada. He said that we should strengthen our relationship with Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet (pbuh) through study circles for a greater understanding of the holy Quran and Hadith.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri explained the importance of bond with Shaykh-ul- Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He provided guidelines on how to hold spiritual gatherings. He gave targets to the Islamic Centre to increase the number of students for the Quran class. He especially gave instructions to increase the quality of education offered by Minhaj School of Canada, stating that the quality of learning is the essence of educational activities. He instructed to conduct adult courses for NEC members through Directorate of Training located at the central secretariat.

The NEC members shared their views on the occasion and gave their input to improve the performance of the organization. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri appreciated their contribution and said that MQI is all about its workers whose dedication and sincerity is second to none. He said Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri considers his workers as his greatest strength.
