Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri grieved over the death of Syed Yusuf bin Mahmood Hussam-ud-Din 
al-Qadri

Patron-in-Chief of MQI Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the death of Sayyid Yusuf bin Mahmood Hussam-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi, the elder brother of MQI's spiritual patron Qudwat-ul-Awliya Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

In a condolence message, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that he was deeply grieved to learn about the passing away of the elder brother of his spiritual mentor and guide Qudwat-ul-Awliya Sayyiduna Tahir Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi. He said that late Yusuf bin Mahmood Hussam-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi was a great spiritual and scholarly personality and was a descendant of Sayyiduna Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra) and Sajjada Nasheen of Khanqah-e-Qadriyya. His death is an irreparable loss to the family.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the whole Muslim Umma has been deprived of a great spiritual personality, adding that his services to humanity are unprecedented and exemplary. He said that Sayyid Yusuf bin Mahmood Hussam-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi dedicated himself to the moral and spiritual reforms and character-building of the people.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the workers and officeholders of MQI are heartbroken and share the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family and express their deepest condolences.

It is important to mention that Syed Yusuf bin Mahmood Hussam-ud-Din al-Qadri, al-Gilani, al-Baghdadi breathed his last in Baghdad (Iraq) yesterday.
