Hazrat Ali was embodiment of piety, bravery & devotion to the Holy Prophet (pbuh): Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that Maula Ali (ra) was embodiment of piety, bravery and selfless devotion to the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He would not give any importance to worldly titles, and wealth and say, "O world, go and deceive anyone else except me. The success you give is inferior, the dangers you pose are grave and the life lived inside you is a waste." Hazrat Ali (ra), he said, advised Hazrat Imam Hassan (ra) and Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra) to always fight the oppression and oppressor and stand by the oppressed. He said that Hazrat Ali (ra) is the most lucky person in universe who was born in the Holy Kaaba, the most exalted place and as an infant, he had the honour of having his first look on the face of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and he took every breath of his life under the shadow of mercy and affection of the Prophet of Islam (pbuh).

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the life and 'Sira' of Hazrat Ali (ra) reflected the 'Sira' of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He (ra) fought Jihad against cruelty and oppression till the last breath of his life. Being a generous person, he would take care of the poor and meet their material needs. He (ra) would also advise people to include the poor and needy in their livelihoods. He was so forgiving and kind hearted that when the enemies of Islam would be under his sword and ask for forgiveness, he would let him go unharmed.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Hazrat Ali (ra) was the best administrator, a capable ruler, and a man of immense wisdom. He said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) described him as the gate of the city of knowledge. He said that as long as this world is intact, the believers will continue to benefit from wisdom-laden sayings and statements of Hazrat Ali (ra).

Chairman MQI Supreme Council further said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has compiled a collection of more than 12000 traditions that were reported by Hazrat Ali (ra). He said that Hazrat Ali (ra) is that companion who has narrated the maximum number of hadith, adding that Masand-e-Imam Ali is a great scholarly gift of the Hadith science over spanning the 1000 years. He said that the Hadith collection is going to be published soon.
