MIWF relief efforts continue for families devastated by Konkan floods

Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation dispatched relief material including food grains, portable water, ready-to-eat food items, clothes, candles and items of sanitation to flood affected areas of Konkan. The first batch carrying 8 tonnes of relief material reached Chiplun after an arduous journey on July 28. More trucks with relief material are being sent soon.

Asad Naeem (Chief coordinator of MQI) said that , " The Konkan floods have devastated many families and MIWF is working to help the flood victims in all possible ways."

Rafeeq Ahmed Khan (President, MIWF) said that , "Our teams are on the ground and are working to help those families that are affected by floods. We have so far delivered 8 tonnes of relief material and our teams will continue to work on the ground till the situation improves."
