‘Fehm-e-Din’ mobile application launched

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the ‘Fehm-e-Din’ mobile application, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his happiness at the fact that the MQI central secretariat is employing modern means of communication to spread its message in line with the changing trends of the time. He said that the development of ‘Fehm-e-Din’ mobile application is the step in the right direction, adding that MQI is a transformational movement that has brought about positive changes in the way the public messaging and outreach efforts are made. He hoped that the launch of the mobile application would prove to be a milestone in the Dawa work of MQI.

Shaykh-ul-Islam said that invitation shapes thoughts. Explaining Dawah, he said that calling people to Allah constitutes an invitation. He said that the prophetic struggle is premised on the idea of Dawah, adding that effective invitation is the one which is extended repeatedly. He said that reinforcement of the message makes it find a place in the heart. He asked the participants to listen to the reformative and positive message repeatedly to make it sink and become part of one’s mindset. He said that the video clips shared by the central secretariat to the local chapters, it is the responsibility of the office-holders and those associated with MQI to spread to all people in their neighbourhood.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulated Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, ‘Fehm-e-Din’ project director Hafizullah Javed, Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Mian Abdul Qadir, Noorullah Siddiqui, Abdul Sattar Minhajian, Muhammad Sanaullah, Engineer Zubair Akhtar, Muhammad Anas Awan, Tahir Raza, and Mohammad Awais on their wonderful efforts in the development and the successful launching of the mobile application. He also appreciated all office-holders of the various forums for their contribution and role in the success of the ‘Fehm-e-Din’ mobile application project. He also mentioned the role of Minhaj Internet Bureau, social media team, Productions department, Minhaj TV, and IT department and lauded their directors and the teams for their hard work.

Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri launched the mobile application by installing the app in his cell. He said that it is a matter of great satisfaction that the message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri would reach all and sundry through ‘Fehm-e-Din’ mobile application project. He said that hundreds of whatsapp groups have been made in the first phase followed by the making of the broadcast lists. He said that MIB developed a software to organize the data that has registration of over 160,000 people. He said that the mobile application has been developed to make this task easy and effective. He congratulated all the technical resource persons who took part in the development process of the application.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that whichever targets MQI fixes for itself, Allah makes it easier for the organization to achieve them through the latest technology and means of communication. He said that the Islamic message of peace, harmony and dialogue is being spread through speeches and books in line with the direction of Shaykh-ul-Islam. He said that the addition of technological tools has made the outcome easier, adding that there is a lot that is still to be done. He directed all the local chapters to download the application and use it for the purposes enumerated already.

MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Engineer Muhammad Rafique Najam, and Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi also spoke on the occasion. Director ‘Fehm-e-Din’ project Hafizullah Javed presented the welcome note and Director MIB Abdul Sattar Minhajian presented the introduction of the mobile application. Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Adil Zaheer Khan, Sanaullah, Sidra Karamat, Umme Habiba Ismail and the office-holders of the various directorates attended the application launching ceremony.
